TAROONA HIGH SCHOOL

Taroona High School has a pre-eminent, nationally recognised music program with very high student engagement across all years, and this project was to provide a new state-of-the-art music facility.

The new build comprised orchestra rehearsal, practice rooms, large multi-purpose rehearsal, and small group, student and staff amenities over two levels. The project included improving workflow and connection to contemporary music, dance, and multi-purpose drama spaces to create a performing arts hub.

Together with the upgrade of the former music facilities into a flexible GLA Hub, to accommodate increasing Taroona High enrolments and provide music theory study areas.
