TASMANIAN ABORIGINAL CENTRE

Luyni Mungalina

This project is an addition to the Tasmanian Aboriginal Centre’s Community Centre in Luyni Mungalina. It accommodates a multipurpose Vocational Education Training facility, together with internal modifications to relocate offices adjacent to the community meeting space.

The architectural approach was to incorporate familiar materials and textures that had an informal character, whilst providing functional and flexible internal spaces for a range of educational programs.
