TASMANIAN ABORIGINAL CENTRE
ABORIGINAL HEALTH SERVICE
Nipaluna
The Tasmanian Aboriginal Health Centre offers health and allied health services for the aboriginal community across Lutruwita. The Nipaluna clinic was a major expansion to provide additional clinical, community, and office space.
The building has been designed to accommodate multiple health services, including general practice, youth and family support, dental, social work, counselling, paediatrics, antenatal care, physiotherapy, and aged care programs.
The project included a state of the art multipurpose space to facilitate conferencing with Launceton, Pataway/Burnie, and Limilinaturi/ Devonport as a state-wide service. Integrated with the fitout was artwork of first nation artist Sharni Read.
