The original music building had limited access, was disconnected from the heart of the campus, small, and highly limited in use.

The campus Masterplan proposed to relocate music into the Performing Arts Centre and expanded it to include a multipurpose drama space to create a Performing Arts Precinct. This required decanting maintenance out of the Performing Arts Centre for improved operational efficiencies and provide space for music. The project was both re-purposing the existing space and part new building. The completed facility has design flexibility for future expansion and has delivered a cost efficient vibrant learning hub that has the capacity for cross curriculum engagement for a rich learning experience and capacity for future expansion.
