ST MICHAEL’S COLLEGIATE
POOL UPGRADE
Collegiate pool was built in 1987. It is a significant school and community resource, including use for southern Tasmanian primary schools learn to swim programs. The pool required a major upgrade to reline the swimming pool, and to provide contemporary amenities with barrier free access. The project comprised re-planning the public access, new amenities, reception and staff station, new patron facilities, and a multi-purpose education HPE space.
The new entry separates pool patrons from the senior school campus. This required heritage works to form a new entry whilst retaining the cultural heritage conservation values of the Heritage listed brick wall.
