SPECIALIST OUTPATIENT CLINICS - WELLINGTON CLINICS
The RHH Wellington Clinics project is 7500m2 of new specialist outpatient clinics adjacent to the Royal Hobart Hospital and is connected via an Air Bridge over Argyle Street.
The facility provides an innovative health planning model to respond to new models of care, and delivers a high quality work environment and improved health outcomes for Tasmanians. The interior environment is a contemporary and non-institutional, patient-focused design. The design incorporates extensive use of natural light and external views, high quality timber finishes with coordinated way finding and contemporary art by Tasmanian artists.
The Wellington Clinics provides Audiology, Back Assessment Clinic, Burns outpatient Clinic, Cardiology, Colposcopy Clinic, Dermatology, Ear Nose and Throat, Endocrinology, Eye Clinic, Gastroenterology, General Medicine, Gynaecologic Oncology, Gynaecology, Infections Diseases, Inflammatory Spinal, Low Vision Clinic, Neurology, Obstetrics, Ophthalmology, Oral and Maxillofacial, Orthopaedic Surgery, Pathology, Refugee Health Service, Renal, Respiratory and Sleep Medicine, Rheumatology, Scleroderma and Special Dental.
As a separate contract TPA+i undertook the design and project management of the Base Building Services Fitout that was undertaken as Building Owner Works completed prior to commencing the fitout.
