NEW BETHLEHEM HOUSE

Bethlehem house is a purpose designed 50 bed facility for men experiencing homelessness. The building provides short term crisis and transitional accommodation, whilst providing holistic care and support to facilitate the men’s move into permanent accommodation and out of homelessness.

The articulated form, scale, and texture of the building is a palette of contemporary materials that acknowledges the unique urban character of the semi-industrial fringe of the upper Harrington Steet precinct. Level 4 is an enclosed terrace and open steel structure with a landscaped roof top as a nod to the established residential gardens of Limekiln Hill.
