ST VIRGILS COLLEGE

Historically, St Virgil’s College Junior School commenced at year 3. This redevelopment was to provide Early Learning and Kindergarten for St Virgil’s to be able to offer K-6 at the Junior School.

To initiate the project TPA+I undertook a Master planning and consultation with the school community to facilitate the expansion and reorganisation of the campus. The early learning and kindergarten facilities are within two heritage-listed buildings, requiring major reworking to orient the spaces to the new adventure playground. The project included an airbridge to address classroom accessibility and improved student circulation, breathing new life into a challenging inner-city site.
